It's hard to believe that I lived in this place for so many years but never visited a hidden treasure of a place around it
In reality it's a real ordinary place
But as the saying goes "Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder"
So it's heaven on earth for me
Because this hidden "gem dropped from heaven" is synonymous to a place where i spent some part of my notorious childhood
Houses running parallely facing each other separated by an uneven narrow distance
Every house has a structure of its own, as if these are not houses but people, each different from other in height, looks, nourishment, health, colour....etc
My ignorance of such a place is quite contrast to my childhood times when I was aware of every corner of our locality
Most often, if not always, I could be found in most bizarre inhuman friendly places without slippers
It was all about curiosity and increasing the horizon of exploration for no underlining reasons
And on return telling fabricated stories to our friends who missed on the greatest adventure
The exaggeration element of story telling is elevated like a thousand times when narrating the adventure
To a point that, those who missed on the so called greatest adventure almost feel they are indeed cursed by life for their absence
Manipulation is such an intrinsic self sprouted quality from unconscious deep within
Each one of us can trace back the proficiency in manipulation quality present in us today... to childhood
There is this magnetic quality associated with childhood memories
Once you remember some, you attract a lot more....making yourself immune to present chaos
The uneven narrow distance between houses reminded me of an absurd impossible dream....were I was being chased by a dragon
The sequence of action was totally preposterous
Because a gignormous fire breathing dragon, after a flimsy microscopic morsel, flying in those uneven narrow distance
I think my dream was heavily influenced by VFX and graphic element, which allowed a gigantic dragon to pass through those narrow path without vandalising the houses running parallely
At the end,
The bad breath bad dragon caught hold of me.... by my shirt's collar
And as it was ascending higher to disappear into the sky
I tricked the dragon by unbuttoning my shirt, allowing my dreamy physical shirtless body for a free fall
I still believe the act of unbuttoning was the most brilliant unscripted heroic move ever... committed by me in my whole life, after being in such a terrified petrified state
And before my free fall could end, I woke up in reality with a racing heart
Im not sure of others, but I don't remember having any impossible dream in the last decade or so
The chaos and complexity bubble self created by me has somehow shamed even the dreamy impossibilities
My thinking is only aligned with possibility and at times even reaching the once possible things have been a far cry
I guess it is the end result of too much familiarity or clarity or 'stories of bad experiences of others' about things, box us from even dreaming
And dreaming is always the first step towards the impossible rest
So as to wake up this "super childhood hero" inside of me from deep sleep, I will keep visiting this "gem dropped from heaven" or other "gems" that reminds me of childhood
A place back in time were we all lacked physical strength but still carried an attitude of a Superhero
